Could you be our next Contracts Administrator?

McDonald’s Australia is entering an exciting era of significant restaurant growth, with new builds and major reinvestments projects accelerating across the country. To support this momentum, we are expanding our National Development Group and introducing a new Contract Administrator position dedicated to helping deliver this ambitious pipeline of work in the South-West region (VIC, WA, SA & TAS).

 

As a Contract Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our development projects run efficiently and professionally from start to finish. You’ll be the organisational engine that keeps projects moving from coordinating tenders, preparing contracts to managing documentation, and supporting our Construction Managers to bring new and revitalised restaurants to life.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Preparing and managing project tenders and documentation
  • Supporting contract preparation, including AS 4000 contracts and consultancy agreements
  • Managing contractor administration systems
  • Coordinating procurement activities including estimates and purchase orders
  • Maintaining project-cost reporting and supporting monthly finance requirements
  • Assisting with internal reporting, software upkeep, and site meeting coordination

Your keys to success:

  • Cert IV in Building & Construction (Contract Admin), Diploma of Contract Management, or equivalent
  • 2–5+ years’ experience in contract administration, ideally in commercial or QSR construction
  • Familiarity with AS 4000 contract administration
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and stay calm under pressure
  • A collaborative, proactive, and professional approach
