Department Overview
This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations team (GTIO), where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald’s works. We provide best-in-class foundational technology products and services including Global Networking, Cloud, End User Infrastructure, and IT Service Management. It’s our goal to always provide an engaging, relevant, and simple experience for our customers.
The Technical Product Analyst role is part of the End User Infrastructure & Operations team in Global Technology and reports to the Senior Manager of Portal & Experience. This person will build, cultivate, and strengthen McDonald’s end-user products and services. They will have a strong knowledge and focus on our end-user applications and services. The Technical Product Analyst will work closely with the End User Computing product managers and product analysts to drive out the product features and capabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology individual to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services to the entire McDonalds environment.
Duties
- Analyze new features for end-user technologies, including the company intranet/portal, identify improvement opportunities, and assist in rollout to enhance adoption and user experience.
- Conduct product comparison analysis across end-user technologies and support feature implementation to deliver measurable value and optimize overall experience.
- Translate complex customer issues into clear problem statements and design innovative solutions using design thinking principles.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, and technology leads to align and contribute to the modernization roadmap.
- Develop and maintain processes, playbooks, and documentation to ensure consistent, reliable, and scalable product delivery.
- Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and recommend enhancements to improve end-user experience.
- Monitor maintenance and operational health, validate performance metrics, and enforce standards to ensure stability, uptime, and a seamless end-user experience.
- Create and manage dashboards, reports, and analytics to measure product performance, adoption, and ROI.
- Partner with managed service providers to enforce SLAs, resolve incidents, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Research emerging Microsoft technologies and assess their fit for the end user portfolio.
- Continuously improve product analysis capabilities through skill development, best practices, and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, and manner to senior stakeholders.
- Extremely knowledgeable about software development / programming due to the technical nature of the role.
- Experience defining user experience needs, writing epics, stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira/Confluence
- Direct experience in an Agile team.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting user research.
- 4+ years of product execution / technical business analyst experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years relevant experience and a Master’s degree.
- At least 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft products
- Passion for online and mobile technology, and knowledge of industry structure, trends and influential companies.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $104,482.00 - $130,602.00 per year
