Job Description

The Director, Global Cyber Security Market Engagement, role is a senior position that supports the Corporate offices in adopting, implementing, and realizing the value of Global Cyber Security services. This role also aids corporate environments in avoiding and remediating cyber risks, while embedding a culture of cyber security resilience across the organization.

The role will be a part of the Global Technology function within the Global Cyber Security team, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Cyber Security Market Engagement (US/Corporate).

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Supply to the development and execution of a highly effective cyber security engagement and deployment program for McDonald's Corporate Offices.
  • Manage work allocation and resource planning, setting clear priorities to achieve team goals.
  • Build strong and trusted relationships with corporate technology teams resulting in alignment on technology and business priorities as they relate to cyber security.
  • Drive the timely adoption of standard Global Cyber Security capabilities and services across the corporate offices markets.
  • Align corporate development, plans, and commitments with Global Cyber Security priorities.
  • Leverage opportunities such as annual planning to gain commitment on adoption of Global Cyber Security capabilities.
  • Support the effective integration of governance, risk management and compliance processes into corporate ways of working.
  • Promote and implement processes to identify, track, report on and mitigate/remediate market cyber risks and cyber security compliance.
  • Be an advocate for our cybersecurity program and an ambassador to our corporate partners in the execution of our strategy.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity issues and lead critical decision-making processes to ensure the continued execution of our strategy.
  • Communicate corporate needs with Global Cyber Security Market Engagement leaders to ensure our cyber security capabilities can be deployed and operated in an effective way to benefit markets.
  • Cultivate effective communication with collaborators throughout the organization, promoting a culture of cybersecurity resilience and awareness across all functions.
  • Ensure global, segment and market understanding of roles and responsibilities regarding the cyber incident management process.
  • Leverage opportunities such as annual planning to gain commitment on adoption of Global Cyber Security capabilities.
  • Support the effective integration of governance, risk management and compliance processes into corporate ways of working.
  • Promote and implement processes to identify, track, report on and mitigate/remediate market cyber risks and cyber security compliance.
  • Be an advocate for our cybersecurity program and an ambassador to our corporate partners in the execution of our strategy.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity issues and lead critical decision-making processes to ensure the continued execution of our strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in cybersecurity, technology leadership, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior or director-level role involving partner engagement, risk management, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Validated experience engaging global partners and building strong partnerships.
  • Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, and incident response.
  • Strategic approach with the ability to align business and security priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience leading change and technology transformation.
  • Strong analytical skills in data manipulation and reporting.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale technology environments and modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members on cybersecurity standard methodologies.
  • Understanding of investment strategies, including CAPEX and G&A.
  • Strong advocacy and influence skills to promote cybersecurity culture.
  • Continuous improvement approach with a focus on operational effectiveness.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $168,350 - $218,860 per year.
