Department Overview

The Director, Mass & Differentiated Promotions leads the evaluation, strategy, and execution of mass promotions, digital offers, and rewards. Translating performance insights into financial forecasts and actionable recommendations. Drives promo investment optimization and influences both cross-functional leaders and Owner Operators to deliver strong, sustainable business outcomes.

Duties

  • Lead Mass and Differentiated Offer strategies and execution across promotions, digital offers, and loyalty
  • Evaluate and support the Everyday Affordability Platform (McValue/EDAP), including strategy, projections, performance measurement, and recommendations for evolution
  • Drive performance measurement across initiatives, including business case development, post-analysis, and identification of optimization opportunities
  • Own national and local promotional discounting guardrails and provide recommendations to support effective execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Field, and Franchisee leadership to drive alignment and influence key business decisions
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term promotional and digital strategies in collaboration with Marketing and Consumer Insights
  • Conduct competitive assessments of affordability and promotional strategies to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate with Field Offices to understand local performance drivers and scale best practices across the system
  • Support and influence loyalty, personalized offers, and digital value strategies, including segmentation, discounting approaches, and earned rewards insights
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting clear priorities and building organizational capability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in RGM, pricing, promotions, sales, CX or loyalty with a strong emphasis on data analysis and strategic advisory
  • Strong knowledge of pricing dynamics, promotional strategy, and digital/loyalty ecosystems
  • Experience in data-driven decision-making and financial/performance analysis
  • Proven experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $168,212.00 - $210,265.00 per year
