Department Overview
The Director, Service Delivery & Deployment will lead the day-to-day execution and decisioning required to redesign and deploy McDonald’s global Finance & Accounting processes, as part of a major transformation program. The program also includes implementation of Oracle Fusion, as well as optimizing the service delivery model. This role serves as the design authority and execution leader for a team of Global Process Leads, ensuring processes are standardized, controlled, enabled by Oracle Fusion, operationally efficient, and transition-ready.The Director will be a thought partner to the Service Delivery & Deployment Senior Director and will represent the process organization in formal program forums, distilling complex issues into clear decision points, impacts, and recommended actions. They will own day-to-day issue resolution, backlog governance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment while escalating items that materially affect timeline, cost, or resourcing. The Director will have 7 direct reports (i.e., gGlobal Process Leads), spanning across the US and Europe.
Duties
Process Design Leadership & Decision Authority:
- Lead end-to-end global process design across Finance & Accounting workstreams (e.g., R2R, P2P, O2C, ATR, as applicable), ensuring alignment to a standardized global model while accommodating necessary local/regulatory requirements.
- Act as design decision owner for key process choices, balancing leading practices, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.Ensure process designs are Oracle Fusion-enabled (fit-to-standard where possible) and clearly articulate where manual workarounds are required and how they will be controlled.
- Ensure the team consistently evaluates decisions through:Control requirements and auditabilityOperational performance (e.g.,m cycle time, quality, cost-to-serve)User experience and adoptionFeasibility within Oracle Fusion and other boundary systems, integrations
Day-to-Day Execution Management (Issues, Risks, Backlog)
- Run a daily operating rhythm (e.g., daily stand-up's) with Global Process Leads to drive progress, remove blockers, and enforce disciplined follow-through.
- Own a structured issue and risk management approach to triage, assign owners, manage dates/decisions, and drive closure.Maintain and govern the process backlog (e.g., defects, enhancements, design changes), including prioritization criteria, dependencies, and resource planning.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership in a global finance transformation, either as a Global Process Owner/Lead in industry or leading transformation teams in consulting (e.g., Target Operating Model redesign, process standardization, ERP-enabled transformation).
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading an outsourced services transition (GBS/BPO), including understanding the mechanics of moving work to an outsourcer (scope definition, SLAs/KPIs, handoffs, knowledge transfer, stabilization).
- Strong process and controls mindset (e.g., proven ability to embed controls into redesigned processes and translate them into practical SOPs).
- Experience leading a global team with direct reports across geographies and time zones.
- Ability to operate at high speed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $178,121.00 - $222,651.00 per year
