Job Description

The Director, Technology Deployments & Quality Engineering, is responsible for ensuring high quality, secure, reliability, and scalable delivery of customer-facing and platform technologies across all environments and global markets. This leader owns end-to-end release governance, testing strategy, deployment readiness, observability, and post-release performance, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Global Segment teams.

This role modernizes how Customer Technology delivers automated, data-informed, and secure-by-design deployment and quality practices on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own deployment of backend services and platform capabilities throughout all stages (DEV, QA, STAGE, PROD).
  • Establish and govern cross-product release readiness across Frontend (Web, Mobile) and Backend services for global launches.
  • Define standardized release governance, go/no-go criteria, and launch checklists across Customer Technology.
  • Partner with Segment teams to support market-specific readiness and rollout strategies.
  • Own the Customer Technology Testing Function, including strategy, tooling, standards, and execution.
  • Define and lead end-to-end testing, including -Feature testing, Performance testing, Accessibility testing
  • Integration testing (including Martech and data flows)
  • Establish and maintain end-to-end testing environments that mirror production.
  • Lead QE engineers to automate feature testing and E2E test suites across platforms.
  • Ensure analytics and clickstream validation, including data accuracy and downstream reporting integrity.
  • Lead capabilities include observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident diagnostics.
  • Develop and share critical metrics such as: Release success rate, Defect leakage, Customer impact, Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), Platform reliability and availability
  • Drive continuous improvement through post-release reviews and RCA difficulty.
  • Be responsible for vulnerability management in partnership with Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS).
  • Partner with GCS on: Penetration testing, Incident response and remediation and Security readiness for releases
  • Define and report metrics for security posture and risk exposure tied to Leadership & multi-functional Partnership
  • Act as a key connector between Product, Engineering, Cyber and Infrastructure teams.
  • Influence without authority to drive enterprise-level team and adoption.
  • Build and scale high-performing teams with strong automation, and operational difficulty.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in technology, with leadership experience across platforms, quality, or production operations.
  • Deep experience in release management, test automation, CI/CD, and SRE practices.
  • Solid understanding of security, vulnerability management, and enterprise governance.
  • Experience supporting global, multi-market platforms.
  • Executive-level communication and influence skills.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $168,212.00 - $210,265.00 per year
