Department Overview

McDonald's Global Compliance is seeking a Legal Assistant to provide support to the Global Compliance program including the Business Integrity Reporting processes. Additionally, the Global Compliance Legal Assistant is responsible for bill processing, budget support, and administrative support such as meeting scheduling, travel and visa arrangements and preparing expense reimbursement submissions. 

Duties

Business Integrity Report Process Management

  • Vendor engagement for Business Integrity reporting and case management system
  • Business Integrity reporting triage.

 

Compliance Case Management

  • Assist in opening and assigning new cases
  • Assist in case files

 

Budget

  • Process invoices
  • Manage electronic outside legal invoice tool for Global Compliance
  • Monitor Global Compliance Beeline activities, assist with electronic SOW process
  • Track monthly expenses, assist with budget projects
  • Process and track any budget corrections
  • Handle all year-end budget transactions, including assisting with accruals

 

Compliance Program Support

  • Assist team with Conflicts of Interest work
  • Provide support for Content, Culture and Engagement work
  • Other programmatic support as needed

 

Administrative Assistant Support

  • Schedule meetings
  • Schedule monthly team meetings
  • Assist with annual planning meetings, including logistics
  • Manage travel arrangements, including obtaining travel visas as needed
  • Travel Expense Submission for VP
  • Maintain Global Compliance organizational chart

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • 1-3 years of work experience required

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $30.58 - $36.69 per year
