Job Description

The Corporate Insurance Department actively assesses business risk and exposures to design and develop insurance programs to protect and preserve the system’s global assets and earnings.  Our vision is to establish a world-class, sustainable insurance risk management system that minimizes risk and potential threats while maximizing value to McDonald’s system.  We are committed to protecting our people, assets, and Brand McDonald’s.
In the Claim Manager role, you will manage McDonald’s Global Claims Management programs, insurance partners, data feeds, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of all data in the insurance data flow (CAS and SOCS systems) from initial claim intake through to all internal and external connections, with a focus on high data quality, minimizing interruptions between McDonald’s servers and vendor partners systems, and regular reconciliation to ensure all systems are in alignment.
  • Oversight of Risk Management Information System (RMIS) and Claims Management System with Third Party Administrator (TPA).
  • Data Mining, Reporting and Analytical Coordination, including trend analysis, for Insurance, TLPG, Security and other internal partners.
  • Oversight of Risk Management Dashboards, including management of security allowances for all users.
  • Management of external vendor partners (Navex, Prime Software).
  • Technical project management.
  • Participation in Claims Reviews and Audits.
  • Subrogation Management.
  • Management of GAIL Claims Handling Documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of experience in claims and/or data management.
  • 2+ years of People Management and/or Vendor Management experience.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau and Power BI preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate insights to stakeholders through meaningful data visualizations.
  • Ability to build insightful financial models/visualizations in Excel coupled with the ability to guide others how to interpret the results.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, desire to deliver results.
  • Strong business & financial acumen including critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range

Salary Ranges-$$98,140.00 - $$125,130.00
