Department Overview

The Customer Engagement and Experience team nurtures profitable customer relationships through meaningful engagements and seamless experiences by leveraging data, innovation, and technology.   

Within the Customer Engagement and Experience team, the US Media team oversees McDonald’s US media strategy and customer data strategy to maximize the return on marketing in our paid channels. The team is responsible for leading and optimizing McDonald’s media investments to drive brand awareness, affinity and guest counts through delivery of best-in-class media strategies. 

Duties

In the Manager, Media Investment role, you will contribute in the following ways:  

  • Oversight of full Media budget to guide investment in appropriate channels and partners in partnership with our agency 
  • Approve and guide Upfront strategy and purchases 
  • Strategically manage McDonald’s marketplace posture including relationships with partners and larger strategic alliances such as JBPs (Joint Business Partnerships) 
  • Meet regularly with agency and marketplace partners 
  • Provide consistent updates to McMedia on marketplace news 
  • Manage and approve media performance reporting and tracking in partnership with agency and internal partners (post buy analysis, commitment reporting, media budget tracking, Added Value reports and coupons) 
  • Direct oversight of Investment and Budget Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, or related field 
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing or a related field 
  • Agency or agency management experience  
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to adapt to various stakeholder groups. 
  • Ability to contribute to, collaborate with, influence, and frequently lead cross-functional teams 
  • Experience working in a sophisticated, global, matrixed organization 
  • Strong influence across all levels within the system  
  • Ability to manage multiple complicated projects with varying stage gates and timelines

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $107,684.00 - $134,605.00 per year
