Department Overview

This role sits within the McDonald’s Global Technology, Product and Design team, where our vision is to develop digital customer experiences that delight our customers and enable our crew to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.

As a Product Manager of Integrated Delivery Experiences, you will be responsible for leading the roadmap and delivering key features for our in-app integrated McDelivery product. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to drive product innovation and achieve business goals. You will be the champion of the customer and our McDelivery business, translating their needs and feedback into product requirements and driving customer-centric product development. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager of Integrated Delivery Experiences within the Delivery product domain. The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed product innovator who can not only articulate a product strategy, but also execute against it.

Duties

  • Partner with Senior Product Manager to develop and implement against the product roadmap, aligning with overall business goals and market trends
  • Own, handle and prioritize a balanced product backlog
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies
  • Drive end-to-end product development, including defining customer requirements and user stories, crafting product specifications, and working with the engineering and design teams to develop and launch new product features and functionality.
  • Deeply understand customer and crew needs, areas of opportunity, and behaviors through research, user feedback, and market analysis. Use data and insights to advise product decisions and prioritize product backlog items.
  • Define and analyze product performance metrics to evaluate product success and opportunity areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global markets including engineering, design, marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives.
  • Cultivate a collaborative workspace and nurture strong bonds with team members to align product goals and achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or an equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management or software development
  • Flexible to occasionally working outside US core work hours to collaborate with global collaborators and partners based outside of the US
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Validated experience in Agile development, application of Agile techniques and delivery practices
  • Attitude dedicated to achieving business goals.

  • Passionate and customer-focused, looking for new solutions for the business, and someone who truly enjoys designing and delivering extraordinary experiences to build brand affinity.
  • Capable of finding product solutions that customers (internal and external) love, in a business that has sophisticated operational and service delivery considerations
  • Knowledge and familiarity with UX design, customer experience and customer experience platform technology systems/specifications interdependencies
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to make quick decisions based on continuous prioritization and evolving customer needs
  • Clear and effective communication skills for articulating complex ideas to various audiences, including both technical and non-technical individuals

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $129,800.00 - $165,490.00 per year
