Department Overview

This opportunity is part of the Global Deployment COE (Center of Excellence) where our vision is to standardize configuration, deployment, and support of restaurant technologies that delight our customers and enable markets to accelerate digital adoption

The Manager – Tech Deployment reports into the Sr. Manager - Tech Deployment and is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and support processes of the restaurant platform. The team partners with the Markets, Segments, and Restaurant Product teams to alignment configurations, deployment, and support strategies to provide a standard solution across all Markets.

The Tech Deployment Manager is responsible for the readiness of capabilities and services of the systems within the group ensuring they are secure and standardized and can be easily consumed by the markets. Ensuring the solution and standard processes are consistently applied across all markets. This includes the deployment and support of these solutions and processes including monitoring, identifying trends and issues, and contributing to solutions to improve restaurant stability and reduce restaurant support calls.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Serve as a technical subject matter professional, providing on the job mentoring/training, assisting with configuration design, and reviewing work products
  • Build and manage relationships with key team members including market representatives, deployment teams, and development teams
  • Analyze support metrics identify trends and opportunities to improve restaurant stability
  • Develop and implement global processes, policies, and standards for restaurant tech solutions
  • Participate in technical solutioning discussions to drive improvements across multiple markets
  • Partner with our restaurant platform, product, and engineering teams to review architecture, solution designs and drive alignment on a standardized platform
  • Handle documentation and training materials for platform integration and adoption
  • Provide training and support to teams on new restaurant tech solutions and processes
  • Collaborate with product and market teams to align solutions with business objectives and market needs
  • Assist and be the subject matter expert on features and capabilities to our development partners and other product teams to ensure alignment
  • Coordinate and/or implement plans to ensure that technical solutions meet the needs of the business
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers, and others; identifying and initiating projects; handling resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate trainings and handover activities across various technology and business collaborators
  • Experience collaborating with team members across a complex and global matrix organisational structure
  • Experience working on projects that span multiple organisations, geographies and business units
  • Retail and Digital technology experience - especially point of sale systems
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills; analytics approach and skills in research and analysis
  • A passion for driving an improved customer experience as well as a passion for improving operations
  • A love of new technologies and the aim to find ways to implement better tools and processes

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $$112,860 - $143,900 per year
