Department Overview

The U.S. Marketing Value and Affordability team at McDonald’s is responsible for creating short-term and long-term strategies, in partnership with Revenue Growth Management, to drive business growth and engage with our consumers through consistent, compelling value. The Local and Digital Value team provides strategic guidance on local value and affordability marketing support that complements our national strategy, defines the national digital value strategy, and supports the development and optimization of local digital offers to ensure relevance and impact across all customer touchpoints.

Duties

 

The Manager, U.S. Value & Affordability Marketing, Local & Digital Value will be responsible for…

  • Supporting development of the national Digital Value strategy to support our national and local affordability strategy and promotions; including evaluating business impact
  • Working collaboratively with the Digital team to optimize value offers and execute strategy as one aligned, cohesive team
  • Partnering with the Field Marketing teams to provide planning guidance across mass affordability and digital offers
  • Supporting OPNAD and committee stakeholder engagement through co-management of DVT (Digital Value Team)
  • Developing OPNAD and O/O facing presentations and supporting sell-in of OPNAD Digital Value tactics
  • Working with TMS on evaluating local digital offers on a monthly basis and providing guidance to the Field
  • Working in close partnership across Marketing sub-teams, as well as RGM and SIP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience working across marketing, operations, or other business disciplines
  • Intellectually curious: Interested in digging into questions and problems affecting the business to identify insights that will drive growth and business improvement
  • Influential and collaborative: Able to engage with others, within teams, across functions, and across levels to drive business outcomes
  • Commercially-driven: Demonstrated understanding of the business/P&L and how McD’s makes money
  • Inclusive: Open to others’ points of view and able to collaborate with others across differences
  • Excellent project and time management capabilities: Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous workstreams with an organized approach to ensure results are delivered on-time and on-scope
  • Strong communicator (oral and written): Can take complex topics and develop clear narratives that can be catered to different audiences
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: Able to successfully operate in environments where there is not a clearly established playbook or process; comfortable with bringing definition to ambiguous topics or questions

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860.00 - $143,900.00 per year
