Department Overview
The Change COE enables the human side of transformation at McDonald’s. We partner with leaders to drive enterprise agility, accelerate adoption of modernization initiatives, and build organizational capability for sustained change. Our mission: Make transformation work—everywhere, every time. Our vision: Change agility is our competitive advantage.
About the Role: We are seeking a Manager, Change Management / Organizational Change Management (OCM) to lead a change workstream for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)—a global, enterprise-wide legal technology and Legal Operations program sponsored by Global Legal & Compliance. The CLM program standardizes, digitizes, and streamlines end-to-end contracting across McDonald’s, establishing a One McDonald’s Way of Contracting supported by a single global CLM platform (Icertis CLM). This role is accountable for driving readiness, adoption, and sustained ways of working across legal and business stakeholder groups, ensuring the CLM transformation delivers measurable improvements in contract cycle time, consistency, policy/compliance, risk management, governance, and reporting/visibility. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Change Management (Change & OA COE), with a strong matrixed partnership to program and functional leadership.
Duties
What You’ll Do
Lead Sub-Workstreams within the CLM Program
· Own and execute sub-workstreams within the end-to-end change management (OCM) strategy and integrated change plan for the CLM program, aligned to McDonald’s enterprise change framework and program delivery milestones.
· Translate CLM process and Icertis system changes (workflows, templates/clauses, approvals, repository) into clear, role-based impacts, communications, training, and adoption actions for global legal and business audiences.
· Partner closely with program leadership, Global Legal, Compliance, Legal Operations, Product/Technology, and GBS stakeholders to ensure integrated delivery across process, technology, data, and service readiness.
Drive Adoption, Readiness & Measurement
· Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and change readiness evaluations across regions and personas.
· Define and track adoption and readiness KPIs (e.g., training completion, go-live readiness, platform usage, contract cycle time, process compliance, stakeholder sentiment), including dashboards and reporting for leadership.
· Use data-driven insights to identify risks, adapt strategies, and accelerate adoption.
Enable Communications, Training & Performance Support
· Lead the design and delivery of targeted change communications aligned to program milestones and leadership messaging.
· Partner with training/L&D and product teams to shape the learning strategy and deliver role-based learning and performance support (job aids, quick guides, demos, office hours, hypercare, train-the-trainer).
· Ensure learning is embedded into day-to-day workflows and reinforced post go-live.
Advance Enterprise Change Capability
· Apply and champion McDonald’s enterprise change standards, tools, and ways of working.
· Share lessons learned and best practices back to the Change & OA COE to continuously strengthen enterprise change capability.
· Advise and coach leaders on change strategy, sponsorship behaviors, and outcome measurements
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Change Management, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience supporting complex, enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
· Strong expertise in change management methodologies, impact and readiness assessment, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
· Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across business, functional, and technology teams without direct authority.
· Proven experience defining adoption KPIs, readiness metrics, and value realization measures.
· Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple priorities.
Desired & Preferred Experience
· Experience supporting process-led global standardization programs, including global process ownership, local nuance management, and exception governance.
· Demonstrated success partnering with stakeholders in risk-managed, policy-driven environments.
· Experience designing and executing role-based training and performance support for legal and business requester audiences.
· Experience supporting global, multi-market deployments with persona-based change planning.
· Experience translating system capabilities (workflows, templates, clauses, reporting) into sustainable ways of working.
· Experience-led change, service design, and journey-based approaches.
· Strong process design, data-driven mindset, and storytelling skills.
· Experience working with globally distributed teams and cross-functional partners.
