We are a group of real estate legal professionals on the lookout for a talented Senior Paralegal to join us in building new McDonald’s restaurants to feed and foster communities across the U.S. If you're experienced in commercial real estate and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and work independently, this is your opportunity to unleash your creativity, tackle complex legal issues and make an impact to shape McDonald’s future.
Duties
Paralegals on the Restaurant Development Legal Team are expected to:
- Review and analyze contracts, leases, easements, restrictive covenants, declarations, and other legal documents;
- Draft and prepare ancillary transaction documents such as escrow instructions, estoppel certificates, deeds, easements, memorandum of leases, restrictive covenants and non-disturbance agreements;
- Review title and survey under supervision of Sr. Paralegal and assist clearing title and correcting the survey;
- Review and gather real estate documents for disclosure in connection with Franchise Disclosure Document;
- Gather transactional documents to facilitate the acquisition and leasing of real estate;
- Work with construction teams to address construction-related issues:
- Independently work with business clients on all aspects of due diligence;
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate required
- Experience in the commercial real estate area preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, drafting and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize higher value work, handle deadline pressures, and sensitive information
- Intellectually curious and adaptable to change
- Work well individually and also as part of a team and demonstrate reliability, strong work-ethic, collaboration, and cooperation with team
- Think strategically and be an active contributor to team efforts to achieve team goals and objectives
- Proficient in adopting and utilizing pre-existing and new technologies to drive efficiency

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $38.82 - $48.52 per year
