Department Overview

The Pricing Strategy, Analytics, & Modeling Supervisor will be expected to conduct complex business analyses to help shape the role of base pricing within the broader US Revenue Growth Management strategy. This individual will develop insights to understand and drive performance of the business and use those insights to create forecasts and partner with stakeholders to execute on key initiatives. A successful candidate is an active problem solver - someone who has the natural curiosity to understand business performance drivers through utilizing large datasets, integrating various information sources and applying analytical skills in developing strategies and recommendations. At the same time, the candidate needs to be able to effectively communicate the results through storytelling and visualization.

Duties

  • Analyze and report on a variety of pricing performance insights, including historical pricing results, pricing elasticity, regional trends, item-level insights, and competitor pricing strategies, through a variety of Monthly, Quarterly, and ad hoc updates
  • Support Price Forecasting, collaborating with cross-functional partners within Business Insights and US Finance to incorporate price projections into financial forecasts
  • Lead data analysis and modeling for a wide variety of ad hoc pricing requests from US leadership and field teams to quantify the business impact for proposed strategies
  • Create pricing performance/education material for US leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and Pricing Strategy Advisor Operators (NPSAG); present material where appropriate
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders within US RGM, Global RGM, Marketing, and Operations to ensure accuracy of analytics insights, consistent messaging, and successful execution of company initiatives
  • Collaborate with several external vendors who support pricing insights, strategy, and execution, ensuring alignment on business rules and priorities, soliciting requests for data or other insights, validating accuracy of vendor deliverables, and answering questions
  • Help develop the overall US pricing strategy in partnership with the Senior Manager of Pricing Strategy, Analytics & Modeling

  • Analytic Insight: Capable of analyzing large amounts of data using multiple data sources, developing analysis templates/tools and synthesizing various learnings into actionable recommendations
  • Problem Solving: Resourcefulness to efficiently find answers to questions when limited information is available, often within a short timeframe
  • Proactive Critical Thinking: Comfortable identifying and escalating errors, risks, and challenges associated with proposed action plans, even without being explicitly asked
  • Communications and Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable delivering complex content to a broad audience
  • Storytelling: Ability to influence cross functional partners by tailoring messages in a clear and compelling way

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2 years minimum experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Insights, Client Services, Pricing Advisory/Strategy, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or similar degree
  • Advanced Excel skills and Intermediate/Advanced PowerPoint skills (required)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Alteryx and SQL experience (strongly preferred)

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $87,050.00 - $108,810.00 per year
