Department Overview

The Manager, Global Legal & Compliance at Ronald McDonald House Global supports enterprise‑wide compliance, risk management, policy governance, and This role also supports contracting activities, including vendor agreements within a contract lifecycle management system.  Reporting to the General Counsel, Ronald McDonald House Global and working closely with functional leaders, the role ensures compliance, contracting, and risk management activities are identified, documented, and managed consistently, with strong visibility and alignment to the Ronald McDonald House Global’s broader risk management framework.

Key responsibilities include facilitating compliance awareness; supporting the development, implementation, and periodic review of policies and procedures; maintaining compliance documentation and mitigation activities; and advising the General Counsel on policy updates, training needs, and emerging risks. The role also supports insurance coordination, vendor procurement, and contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of legal agreements, and maintaining agreement templates and contracting resources.  The role also helps maintain the enterprise risk register.

Duties

Compliance and Risk

  • Facilitate enterprise‑level awareness of compliance and risk across Ronald McDonald House Global.
  • Support functional owners in identifying, documenting, and managing compliance risks.

 

  • Create, implement, and ensure proper documentation of policies and procedures in coordination with Senior Leadership and business functional leads. 
  • Establish and document current and future mitigation activities. 
  • Proffer recommendations to the Ronald McDonald House Global’s General Counsel on revision of policies, training needs and other factors that affect compliance and areas of risk. 
  • Maintain awareness of incident responses, remediation, and corrective actions to ensure summary reporting is available for compliance requirements.

 

Vendor Procurement & Contract Lifecycle Management 

  • Lead and maintain Ronald McDonald House Global’s vendor procurement & management policies, standards, and core processes.
  • Manage the vendor sourcing and engagement process, including maintenance of vendor service agreements, contract development, and coordination with vendor relationship managers.

 

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of legal agreements with limited supervision for Ronald McDonald’s House Global, including vendor services agreements and other agreements managed both within and outside the contract lifecycle management system.

 

  • In collaboration with the General Counsel, maintain and update legal agreement templates and related contracting resources as appropriate.
  • Provide tools, resources, and guidance to Ronald McDonald House Global staff that enable adherence to and fulfillment of contract terms, renewal obligations, and related compliance requirements.
  • Ensure vendors receive and acknowledge receipt of applicable policies, including the Vendor Code of Conduct, as part of their compliance obligations.

 

Ronald McDonald House Insurance Coverage Portfolio 

  • Act as a liaison between the Insurance Department, Ronald McDonald House Global Team members, and the Audit and Risk Committee to facilitate appropriate insurance coverage and ensure timely and accurate insurance filings.

 

Policies and Procedures 

  • Lead the dissemination, certification, and periodic review of the Ronald McDonald House Global Information Governance policies, procedures, and standards, including version control and logging. 
  • Coordinate with functional owners and support development, dissemination, certification, and periodic review of Ronald McDonald House Global policies, related procedures, and standards as appropriate, including version control and logging. 

 

Enterprise Risk Management 

  • Maintain and periodically review Ronald McDonald House Global Risk Register, including documented risks, mitigation activities and their associated risk rankings. 
  • Document newly identified risks arising from incidents and/or other factors affecting Ronald McDonald House Global operations.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, legal studies, finance or another related field.  
  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar credentials preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management, corporate governance, or a related function; nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise‑level compliance, risk, or governance policies.
  • Familiarity with vendor agreements, contract lifecycle management, and third‑party risk considerations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise risk management activities, including risk identification, documentation, and mitigation tracking.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional work and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to design governance frameworks and processes executed by functional owners.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Technology, Legal, and Operations.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and DocuSign®; ability to quickly learn and adopt new systems and tools.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $107,684.00 - $134,605.00 per year
