Department Overview

McDonald’s is creating smarter, more responsive digital and data systems that transform operations and elevate guest experiences. The Enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI (EDAA) organization empowers every function—marketing, operations, supply chain, and more—through seamless integration of business and technology.


We are hiring a Scrum Master focused on supporting the Digital Payments Engineering Team. This area covers data flowing from our payment providers and McDonald's payment services and primarily focuses on data ingestion, curation and analytics. This role sits within Data Analytics, Architecture and AI. This group manages data from various areas of the business including Sales, Restaurant, Finance, People and many more. You will work alongside passionate data engineering professionals and business stakeholders focused on Digital Payments, Treasury and MarTech. 

Responsibilities

•    Project Oversight: Planning, execution, and delivery of projects ensuring alignment with business goals.
•    Agile Facilitation: daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews and other agile ceremonies.
•    Coach the team on self-organization, cross-functionality, and continue improvement
•    Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and key metrics
•    Team Coordination: Collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.
•    Work closely with product owner to refine backlog, ensuring clarity.
•    Resource Management: Identify and eliminate blockers. Mitigate risks around timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
•    Risk Mitigation: Identification and resolution of project risks and issues.
•    Compliance: Adherence to industry standards and best practices.
•    Performance Monitoring: Tracking progress and reporting on key metrics.
•    Continuous Improvement: Encouraging learning and process enhancements.
•    Stakeholder Communication: Bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
•    Process Optimization: Development and implementation of project management tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

•    5+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in AI, data engineering or technology sectors.
•    Strong understanding of agile methodologies and project management tools.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience with Jira, Jira product discovery, and Confluence
•    Educational background in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills. 
•    Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
•    Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) or SAFe Agilist certification is a plus

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $138,207.00 - $172,758.00 per year
