Role Overview
This opportunity is part of the McDonald’s Commercial Products & Platforms, Consumer Product team where our vision is to develop digital customer experiences that delight our customers and enable our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.
The Senior Product Manager, Global Web Application is responsible for partnering cross-functionally to identify, define and deploy Global Web Application (McDonald’s new e-commerce website). In this role, you’ll work with multi-functional teams, such as tech leads, designers, developers, data, business and market stakeholders, and external vendors, to define and implement a robust global web strategy. You’ll be the champion of the web channel customer, translating their needs and feedback into product requirements and driving customer-centric product development. The Senior Product Manager will also partner with their team peers to identify growth opportunities that ensures GWA remains relevant to the market and meets customer needs. This person will also partner with the broader Channels team, integrating best-in-class applications that bring all the experiences together into a cohesive, usable, and accessible interface.
This is an excellent opportunity for an expert product manager to help craft the transformation and define the product vision of the Global Web Application.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with a peer Senior Product Manager on the web team to co-lead the development and execution of Global Web Application (GWA) roadmap, ensuring alignment with McDonald’s broader strategy and business goals.
- Champion web strategy as a key component of McDonald’s customer experience, bringing a strong perspective on how web capabilities integrate across digital channels.
- Drive product development by defining and prioritizing features, user stories, and backlog items in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and alignment across design, engineering, marketing, legal and analytics.
- Oversee the product release cycle, including planning, testing, and deployment, while maintaining a shared understanding of timelines and deliverables with your product partner.
- Co-own shared product concerns such as navigation, information architecture, and design to ensure consistency and scalability across the web experience.
- Leverage market insights and industry trends to inform product strategy and keep the web portfolio competitive and customer centric.
- Be an advocate for customer needs, thoroughly understand customer needs and anticipate customer demands to develop engaging, best-in-class digital experience for the global websites.
- Algin on prioritization and trade-offs with your peer PM to deliver the highest-value features first, balancing short-term impact with long-term vision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or an equivalent.
- 6+ years’ experience working in a software development environment as product manager.
- Demonstrate a track record in product management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into product enhancements.
- Strong experience in Agile Development, application of Agile techniques and delivery practices.
- Communication skills with ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to advise product strategy.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders across an at-scale, complex, global matrixed org setup a plus.
- Knowledge of web content management systems like Adobe Experience Manager a plus.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $149,260.00 - $190,310.00 per year.
