Department Overview

We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst - Tax Technology to join our dynamic Global Tax function, helping translate complex tax and business challenges into practical and scalable solutions.

This is a high impact role that blends tax knowledge, process improvement and technology solutions. You will report to the Tax Technology Solutions Lead and work closely with Global Tax colleagues across regions, partnering with different teams and departments, as well as external advisors to improve how we deliver tax through better processes, smarter tools and strong user engagement.

Duties

  • Drive and support end‑to‑end process improvement initiatives within the Global Tax team, from problem definition through to delivery and adoption.
  • Translate complex business and tax scenarios into clear, practical and actionable plans using Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Work on cross‑functional projects with teams across the Globe as well as other departments, such as Finance and IT, and external advisors to streamline tax data flows and reporting processes.
  • Support and continuously improve internal tax platforms for the Global Tax function, including:
    • Day‑to‑day ownership, configuration and system governance
    • Driving user take‑up, engagement, and best‑practice
    • Acting as a key liaison between Tax, IT, and system partners
  • Champion the practical use of GenAI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve productivity, insight, and ways of working across the Tax team.
  • Design workflows and provide hands‑on support and guidance on Alteryx, including:
    • Supporting Alteryx Gallery usage
    • Troubleshooting workflows
    • Establishing best practices and reusable approaches
  • Design and deliver Lunch & Learn sessions, demos and training materials.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for global tax colleagues, listening carefully to challenges and “playing back” structured solutions the team can act on.
  • Develop and create user-friendly Standard Operating Procedures for owned solutions.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to confidently bridge Tax and Technology domains to streamline processes, support tax analysis and modelling, and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of experience in tax or a related field and proven experience in process improvement, automation and tax technology within a large corporate or professional services firm.
  • Experience in dealing with large datasets, data cleansing and transformation and complex processes.
  • Proficiency in data transformation, automation, visualization tools, finance systems, including:
    • Alteryx (Core level or above)
    • Microsoft Excel (intermediate or above)
    • Microsoft SharePoint (intermediate)
    • Microsoft Power Automate (and Desktop Version)
    • Microsoft Power BI
    • ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud, SAP or similar
    • Experience with tax software will be useful
  • Effective organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, run projects end‑to‑end, handle stakeholder engagement and deliver ahead of time.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills—able to take complex, unstructured issues and turn them into clear, actionable steps.
  • Confident and clear communicator, comfortable presenting to groups, facilitating discussions and explaining complex concepts to a range of audiences.
  • Collaborative team player who can work independently and proactively with a continuous learning mindset, in a global environment.
  • Builds strong working relationships with internal teams and external advisors/consultants.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $85,014.00 - $106,267.00 per year
