Workplace Solutions operates within the framework of Global Business Services, overseeing a comprehensive range of functions that elevate the employee experience through resources, services, and amenities so employees can connect, work, play, and grow. The Workplace Experience team defines and operationalizes services, resources, and activations that ensure McDonald’s Corporate Workplaces are great places for all people to work, connect, and be a part of McDonald’s.
Job Description
The Workplace Engagement Specialist is responsible for supporting efforts to drive workplace engagement via a variety of communication channels. They work cross-functionally to create compelling digital content to include on digital screens, web platforms, video, and other solutions. They lead digital content creation, authoring, and brand identity alignment for digital signage and web communication for our corporate offices.
The Workplace Engagement Specialist also supports workplace engagement activation events and develops other strategies to support workplace engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications (50%)

Draft, edit, and publish internal employee communications in alignment with Workplace Solutions and cross-functional team initiatives. Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and effectively supports organizational goals.
Digital and Video Content Creation (20%)

Develop, author, and publish engaging digital content including videos, graphics, and multimedia presentations. Maintain brand voice and tone across all content formats.
Workplace Communication Coordination (15%)

Coordinate workplace-related communications across various internal platforms. Manage content calendars, updates, and ensure alignment with corporate communication standards.
Event and Project Support (15%)

Assist with the planning and execution of Workplace Solutions and Working Futures events and projects. Provide logistical and communications support to enhance employee engagement and project visibility.
Qualifications

Strong skills in communications, project management, copywriting, social media, scripting, internal corporate communications.

Two to four years’ experience required in writing, editing, digital content development and platform management, content management, digital communication tools (Canva, SharePoint, Office 365), and video.

Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, business, journalism, or related required.

Salary Range
Salary Ranges-$65,820.00 - $82,280.00

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
