Department Overview
The Cybersecurity Endpoint Protection & Management team is responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and well‑managed endpoints across McDonald’s global environment. This includes corporate devices, servers, virtual machines, cloud workloads, POS systems, and other operational technology.
The Sr Analyst, Endpoint Management role focuses on supporting Tanium‑based endpoint management and security capabilities, working under the guidance of senior engineers and platform owners. This role is execution‑focused, but success requires more than technical operation alone.
In addition to strong technical execution, this role requires the ability to translate endpoint data and technology into clear outcomes for stakeholders. The Sr Analyst is expected to build and re‑establish productive relationships across Global Cyber Security, Global Technology, and market teams—helping leaders at all levels understand what Tanium data means, why it matters, and how it supports risk reduction, operational stability, and business priorities.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Support the day‑to‑day operation of Tanium‑based endpoint management services, following established standards and procedures.
- Execute Tanium questions, packages, and actions to support asset transparency, patching, configuration compliance, and endpoint investigations.
- Assist with validating endpoint data accuracy and identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or remediation needs.
- Support endpoint remediation efforts, including patch deployments and configuration changes, under change and safety controls.
- Collaborate with senior analysts, engineers, and partner teams across Global Cyber Security, Global Technology, markets, and vendors.
- Document findings, procedures, and operational steps to support runbooks, SOPs, and service continuity.
- Analyze recurring operational issues and escalate trends or improvement opportunities.
- Translate Tanium data and endpoint findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical collaborators.
- Communicate endpoint risks, trends, and remediation progress in a way that supports decision‑making by leaders at various levels.
- Contribute to outcome‑focused reporting that ties endpoint activity to risk reduction, operational resilience, and efficiency
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, endpoint management, or enterprise IT operations.
- Hands‑on experience with endpoint management or security tools such as Tanium, SCCM, Intune, Jamf, BigFix, or similar platforms.
- Foundational knowledge of endpoint operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Tanium in a production or enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with endpoint patching, vulnerability management, or configuration compliance processes.
- Basic scripting experience (PowerShell or Python) for task execution or data analysis.
- Experience working in large, distributed enterprise environments.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and data clearly and credibly to audiences with varying levels of technical depth.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders to rebuild confidence, align expectations, and drive adoption of security or endpoint services.
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical execution with relationship management and a service‑oriented mindset.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $127,332.00 - $159,165.00 per year
