Duties

The Customer Engagement and Experience team nurtures profitable customer relationships through meaningful engagements and seamless experiences by leveraging data, innovation, and technology.

As the Sr Director of Media, you’ll lead the allocation of the full US McDonald’s media spend and determine how we reach out priority customers through paid channels.  You’ll evolve our go-to-market plans and ensure we’re making data-led decisions to drive growth for the total business and the right level of support for our marketing priorities.

You will also:

  • Oversee US McDonald’s media budget inclusive of system media strategy, initiative media strategy and partner/marketplace investment strategy
  • Lead annual planning for media including guiding decisions on how we resource marketing and business priorities
  • Enable strategies that allow us to improve our return on system marketing investment year-over-year
  • Assist agency teams in negotiations with longer-term, major partners
  • Co-own key operator stakeholder committee with heavy influence on overall marketing plan engagement with operator leaders
  • Partner alongside brand & content team and owned channel team in developing go-to-market plans and audience strategies
  • Coach and develop the Media team for growth while fostering a culture of marketing excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, or related field; MBA-preferred
  • 10+ years of proven paid media experience (either client-side or agency-side) with track-record of building industry-leading strategies and driving strong ROI
  • Leadership proficiency—experience leading large teams and developing people; skilled at influencing cross-functionally
  • Comfort engaging with executives
  • Basic knowledge of adtech/martech to enable stronger strategies and learnings

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $222,000 - $289,000 per year
