Responsibilities

As the Senior Manager of Business Advisory Services — McDonald’s Restaurant Innovation, you will play a critical role in the development of the McDonald’s Global Restaurant Innovation business case. This role will be the finance lead on a cross-functional team, responsible for modeling the financial implications of various restaurant initiatives to inform the global restaurant of the future. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all Finance topics related to the McDonald’s Global Restaurant Innovation project— including modeling out expected financial impacts and project budgeting and tracking.
  • Develop new financial models to estimate the impact of various proposed initiatives for the McDonald’s Restaurant Innovation project on a global scale. Potential models could include varying sales drivers, new technology, restaurant design changes, and kitchen equipment.
  • Communicate recommendations to leadership on prioritization and sequencing of sales and efficiency drivers to deliver the strongest restaurant profitability.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with various ad-hoc requests and special projects, related to Restaurant innovation such as, cost/benefit analysis, project spend prioritization, and financial contract analysis.
  • Create global modeling frameworks and tools to assist individual markets around the world in determining the best decisions for their markets.
  • Collaborate and become a key thought-partner to the cross-functional Restaurant Innovation Team (Operations, Marketing, Category leads, Market Finance, Corporate Strategy)

This role will report to the Director, Business Advisory Services. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years of experience; heavy financial modeling experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency including familiarity with building complex financial models with large amounts of data
  • Executive-level communication skills and presence – ability to level-up the details, identify what’s important, and advise our leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to interact with all disciplines, levels, and cultures and build relationships
  • Exceptional consulting and communication skills
  • Adept at balancing competing priorities and deadlines; well organized and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong analytical skills and storytelling abilities through business case thinking and frameworks
  • Possesses natural curiosity, asking questions when necessary to understand a situation

A strategic mindset, bias towards action, skepticism of the status quo, and can-do attitude – someone who is not afraid to dig in, uncover problems, and find solutions as a collective team

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $130,434.00 - $163,042.00 per year
