Duties

The Manager of Marketing Measurement and Optimization is responsible for leading Global Insights marketing measurement projects and will be responsible for running and elevating large existing measurement projects, working with several different vendors, both analytics firms and media agencies. Additionally, the role will focus heavily on translating data results into meaningful marketing and business insights, with principles and recommendations to inform strategic marketing plans and campaign development for Global campaign and for the McDonald’s top markets.

 

This role is also responsible for analyzing McDonald’s performance in comparison to the QSR industry to identify and explain industry factors impacting our campaign performance & to share, with Marketing Leadership, opportunities and threats uncovered to inform key decisions during Global campaign development.

 

 

Success is measured by Marketing teams adopting the recommendations and putting them into action, leading to measurable business outcomes such as marketing driven sales and return on marketing investment. Other successful outcomes will be the broader education of McDonald’s System on marketing measurement learnings and focusing them on metrics that matter.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of marketing analytics or digital analytics experience. Media experience or Data science background are strong pluses.
  • Having worked extensively with MMM (Marketing Mixed Modeling) is strongly desired (from either a strategic or modeling perspective)
  • Strong quantitative & qualitative analysis skills, including being able to perform your own analysis given a set of raw data and have strong data visualization skills
  • Strong technical skills; proven ability to work with and influence analytic teams with good understanding of how marketing measurement methodologies work and working knowledge of what measurement solutions are the best option to answer different types of marketing questions
  • Experience translating behavioral data and MMM data outputs into narrative-lead data stories with marketing insights and creating business recommendations
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct or indirect reports to achieve organizational goals
  • Curious, task-oriented, and a self-starter, with a proven track record of “getting things done”.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for discovering consumer behavior, trends, and opportunities for innovation

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $129,800.00 - $165,490.00 per year
