Department Overview
We are the US Technology Team. We are a tight-knit, forward-thinking team of technologists that puts McDonald's solutions in the hands of customers and crew. Our technology powers tens of millions of orders every single day – serving almost 10% of the US population daily! Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Executes strategy for US Solution Readiness, and provides input in US product/feature roadmaps, in alignment with Global Tech Strategy and Segment/Market Business Strategy.
This position will manage team, vendors, and engage with other functions to ensure new products/features meet US requirements, and are ready to be deployed and adopted by the US market. It will conduct people management processes including career planning, talent development and coaching to deliver upon department, team and individual goals. To be successful, the Sr. Project Manager must develop strong partnerships with global product owners, release managers, development teams, support leads, and business stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading key restaurant technology product pilots projects
- Design efficient and effective test methodologies to ensure consistent and repeatable processes
- Ensure pilot test results are documented and communicated in coordinate with product owners to ensure issues are tracked and resolution plans are implemented
- Ensure all pilots have clear measurements, goals, key performance indicators, and end dates
- Maintain close relationship with product owners and business stakeholders to facilitate pilot testing and decision making on product roadmaps
- Leading future product enhancements, release plans, and deployments with input from product managers, business stakeholders, and 3rd party software vendors
- Manage and influence across teams to drive process changes enabled by new technology.
- Ensuring alignment of product roadmaps with the US strategy and Global Tech Product roadmaps and vendor roadmaps
Qualifications
Required Skills
• 10+ years of relevant professional work experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading technical teams or Product Manager eliciting/defining requirements, designing systems solutions, and managing business requirements
• 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies
• Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable team player
Desired Skills
• Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline is highly desired
• Experience working in McDonald's restaurants or equivalent QSRs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
• Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $149,260.00 - $190,310.00 per year
