Job Description

McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group currently has an excellent Senior Manager level opportunity. This accounting position offers an individual the opportunity to become involved in the accounting, analysis, and reporting in some of the Company’s more technical accounting areas.  The role requires an individual to be well versed in US GAAP principles and have the ability to research specific accounting standards and apply them to McDonald’s new business initiatives.

This Accounting Senior Manager role also offers a broad perspective on McDonald’s global business and allows for the individual to be a trusted business partner to multiple departments across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Accounting and analysis of technical accounting matters, including research and documentation
  • Understand McDonald’s accounting policies and how to apply them to new Company initiatives
  • Provide fiduciary leadership and promote strong internal control compliance
  • Assist with various ad-hoc requests, special projects and technical accounting research for finance management and global finance teams
  • Development and supervision of staff

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 6+ years of accounting experience
  • Previous Public Accounting experience 
  • Prior experience with leading, coaching and developing a team
  • CPA or equivalent is required

Salary Range

Salary Ranges-$129,800.00 - $165,490.00 per year
