Job Description
The Sr. Technical Product Manager, role is part of the Supply Chain technology team within Global Technology Enterprise Products and Platform. The role reports to the Director of Master Data, Foundation, and Compliance. The role is responsible for driving the Supply Chain Audit and Compliance platform outcomes, managing the agile product and processes, improving the user experience and adoption, and ensuring alignment with the Global and Market Supply Chain teams.
Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology leader to help shape products and processes at a global scale.
- Lead and drive product backlogs with functional requirements from business stakeholders with respect to master data management strategies and implementation.
- Lead conversations with the scrum team to drive how the technology capabilities and user journeys are defined for a given business process in conjunction with solution parameters.
- Define and influence product roadmaps and business discussions with recommendations on how functionality/workflow, and user journeys should be defined, leveraging the technology stack’s capabilities.
- Lead, understand, and evaluate business processes, enabling you and the team to translate business needs into development and data requirements.
- Work with business analysts to ensure process flows align with the agreed business process and provide two-way communication between stakeholders and the project team on processes and functionality.
- Lead technical solution design discussions with the project development team and establish standards and review that the acceptance criteria are captured, ensuring they resonate with the outcome of the functionality.
- Act as a key point of contact for the team to clarify product/solution functionality, and delivery timeline
- Lead technical discussion and planning with business and technology stakeholders to factor in the dependency of the cross-functional team for product rollout in different geographies.
- Take ownership and work closely with cross-functional Technology Architects/Leads to understand and drive simplification and consistent user experience across the platform/solutions.
- Take ownership of managing finances for the portfolio of products and ensure product backlogs and prioritization align with the committed budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agile Product Management methods and terminology. 8+ years of Technical Product Management experience
- Apply a holistic approach to solution and data management, quality principles, and cultural change, supporting the realization of business objectives.
- Have hands-on experience with Cloud Capabilities such as Glue, Lambda, and API Gateway, and a clear understanding of dynamic scaling.
- Must understand how Identity Management plays a role in user provisioning within a given product/solution and have good knowledge of SAML/OIDC protocols.
- Understand the importance of change management in implementing functionality and data strategies.
- Have experience managing expectations and working in a multi-vendor environment, including System Integration partners and Software-as-a-Service providers.
- Have a clear understanding of how different cloud technology stacks work together and understand their core capabilities.
- Demonstrate oral/written communications skills to multiple levels of leadership, with the ability to convey complex ideas in easy-to-understand, friendly language
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of restaurant operations and processes (McDonald’s experience is a definite benefit)
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, PowerBI and Tableau
- Experience in multi-country rollout of a Product.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $149,260 - $190,310 per year
