Department Overview
The Senior Tax Analyst – US International Tax plays a critical role in supporting the Company’s U.S. international tax compliance and reporting obligations. This position focuses on accurate and timely preparation and review of international tax forms, collaboration with co-sourcing partners, and providing technical support for tax provision and planning processes.
Duties
- Collaborate with co-sourcing providers to prepare and review U.S. international tax forms, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, and Country-by-Country (CbC) reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of U.S. international tax calculations for quarterly and annual tax provisions, including Subpart F income, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, and earnings and profits (E&P).
- Support the development of tax models to evaluate the impact of U.S. and international tax legislation, business transactions, and planning strategies. This includes scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and integration with financial forecasting.
- Monitor and analyze U.S. and foreign tax legislative changes, tax audits, and business initiatives to assess potential tax impacts.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive workpapers and documentation to support tax positions and respond to inquiries from auditors and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal tax policies, including record retention, documentation standards, and completion timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technology adoption.
- The candidate should bring a mindset of innovation and adaptability to support the evolving needs of the tax function.
- Provide technical support to the Tax Accounting team and collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax-related matters.
- Assist with IRS controversy matters, including audit responses, issue resolution, and coordination with internal and external advisors.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to technological change and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience with or interest in emerging tax technologies and process automation.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; master’s in taxation or accounting and CPA preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in U.S. international tax, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Strong understanding of U.S. international tax rules, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, and repatriation.
- Experience with OneSource Income Tax or similar tax compliance software.
- Familiarity with OneSource Income Tax Provision (OTP) is a plus, including exposure to provision calculations, deferred tax analysis, and integration with compliance processes.
- Strong proficiency with data transformation and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) is expected. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to leverage technology to streamline tax processes, support modeling activities, and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Salary $75,700.00 - $94,620.00
