Department Overview
As part of the U.S. Marketing & Menu Strategy team, you will help shape the future of the McDonald’s menu. This role plays a key part in driving business growth by balancing the day-to-day needs of the business with the development of both short and long-term menu strategies.
Leveraging consumer insights, competitive intelligence, marketplace trends, and performance data, you will help identify opportunities that drive category growth, improve the customer experience, and support annual business objectives. You will translate complex data into clear business implications and collaborate across functions to bring menu strategies to life.
The Supervisor, Menu is responsible for identifying and championing category growth opportunities that leverage McDonald's unique competitive advantages. In this role, you will support the development and execution of menu strategies, monitor business performance, and help bring initiatives from strategy through commercialization.
You will work closely with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Consumer Insights, Operations, Culinary, Finance, Supply Chain, and restaurant leadership teams to develop recommendations, execute initiatives, and drive business results.

Duties
- Lead and manage lower-complexity menu initiatives from concept through commercialization while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer behavior, category dynamics, competitive activity, and marketplace trends.
- Partner with the Strategy, Insights & Prioritization team to monitor category performance against annual KPIs, identify drivers of results, and uncover opportunities for growth.
- Analyze consumer, competitor, and business performance data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support the development, storytelling, and alignment of menu strategies, business cases, and tactical plans to leadership, Owner/Operator partners, and Field Marketing teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of menu initiatives and go-to-market plans.
- Support team operations, including budget coordination, meeting management, food events, governance event and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, category management, brand management, strategy, or a related business discipline.
- Experience managing projects and working effectively across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and a growth mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in foodservice, restaurant, CPG, retail, or consumer-facing industries.
- Experience supporting menu strategy, product innovation, new product development, or commercialization initiatives.
- Familiarity with consumer insights, market research, and performance analytics.
- Experience developing presentations and business cases for leadership audiences.
