Job description
The Finance Supervisor, Global Supply Chain will be a member of the Business Advisory Services team within the Corporate Controller Group. This role, part of the Global Finance team, delivers financial expertise and support to the Global Supply Chain department.
Responsibilities
- Act as one of the Finance Business Partners to the Global Supply Chain department
- Interact, influence, and build strong relationships with all areas of the Corporate Controller Group, Global Supply Chain, suppliers, markets and other McDonalds corporate departments, building open lines of communication and trust
- Lead Global Supply Chain’s Supplier Financial Health process and evaluate financial health risk for suppliers, lead conversations with executives at “high risk” suppliers to better understand business performance, strategies, and risks.
- Manage Global Supply Chain reporting, including Variance Account Analysis and Back Door Cost Reporting. Support the month-end close process through issue resolution, coordination with budget owners, accrual preparation, variance analysis, and monthly financial reporting.
- Assist with processes related to the long-range planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly variance analysis.

- Assist with special projects (e.g., build cost-benefits analyses, advise on cost savings, etc.)
Other responsibilities may include: assisting with Food & Paper Projections
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of experience; previous FP&A, Big 4, or similar experience preferred
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Leadership and department owners of financial outcomes of business decisions; ability to tell the Global Supply Chain finance story.
- Proven track record of managing competing priorities and addressing roadblocks –desire to work independently amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Takes initiative and demonstrates creativity in finding efficiencies
- Strong aptitude with financial systems
- Ability to handle and analyze large amounts of data quickly and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to interact with all disciplines, levels, and cultures and build relationships
- A strategic mindset, bias towards action, skepticism of the status quo, and can-do attitude – someone who is not afraid to dig in, uncover problems, and find solutions as a collective team
- Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment

Salary Range
Salary Ranges - $75,700.00 - $94,620.00
