Department Overview
The Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) Marketing and Communications team is responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s global marketing and communications strategies. Within that area of responsibility, the team oversees the RMHC brand including compliance, consistency, positioning and communication across the entire RMHC Chapter system in 62 countries and regions.
The Marketing & Communications team creates the brand strategy and guidelines while serving as a brand consultant for the individual Chapters. In addition, the team executes Global tactics that support and increase awareness for the brand and the RMHC mission. Global tactics include: planning, development and implementation across paid, owned and earned media; direct response marketing and fundraising efforts - including email and direct mail, digital and social media content and campaign creation; public relations; crisis communication; advertising; content management across the rmhc.org website; and corporate marketing activation. The team also manages the interface between RMHC and the McDonald’s Global/U.S. marketing and communications relationships to ensure continuity and promote co-brand building.
Duties
RMHC has an immediate opening for a Direct Response Fundraising Supervisor to support and help execute our growing direct response fundraising program. This role will support the development and delivery of high-impact, data-informed fundraising campaigns across email, direct mail, social media and paid digital. The Supervisor will collaborate with agency partners, internal stakeholders, and the broader MarComm team to drive donor acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Support Direct Response Manager with all direct marketing activations and strategy execution, including: email, direct mail and paid media.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of vendor and agency partners, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance regularly, including KPIs such as conversion rates, ROAS and retention.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation by assisting in A/B testing strategies and providing analysis of outcomes.
- Assist in content creation for email, direct mail, and digital ads – ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign objectives.
- Maintain a comprehensive direct marketing calendar and ensure alignment across marketing functions.
- Design and manage complex automated email workflows, optimizing user experiences and engagement.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5 years+ of experience in nonprofit fundraising or direct/performance marketing (email, direct mail, paid media).
- Deep understanding of direct response channels, including digital giving, email, SMS and paid search.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize multi-channel fundraising campaigns using data and segmentation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting campaign results, building performance reports, and making strategic recommendations.
- Experienced storyteller with the ability to create consistent, engaging messaging across all donor touchpoints.
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, while being flexible, collaborative and deadline driven

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $75,700.00 - $94,620.00 per year
