Department Overview
In Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations, our mission is to benefit the system by delivering modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald’s works. This role falls under the Global Edge Readiness & Deployment team. As restaurant operations become increasingly digital, a modern, unified technology platform is essential for continued growth and innovation. Edge addresses this by bringing the power of the cloud directly into our restaurants, replacing the existing server estate - including POS, back-of-office, and other localized systems - with a cloud-enabled, integrated platform managed by Google.
Duties
Role Overview
The transition to the Edge Platform as a Service is a critical step in modernizing McDonald’s global restaurant infrastructure. More than a server upgrade, Edge lays the groundwork for scalable innovation and next-generation solutions that will transform how our restaurants operate and serve our customers around the world.
We are seeking a Supervisor, Tech Deployment to maintain our global edge playbook, and playbook change control process. The role is responsible for driving market readiness and technology deployment across global initiatives. This position ensures seamless execution from discovery through rollout by coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing playbook processes, and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, focusing on process optimization, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication. Success in this role requires strong project management expertise, a deep understanding of deployment frameworks, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Responsibility
· Lead weekly connects with edge readiness and deployment leads to gather market gaps and feedback.
· Capture, review, and integrate playbook process feedback and changes.
· Address playbook and process-related inquiries.
· Maintain and update all versions of playbooks with ongoing revisions.
· Draft and deliver weekly status reports.
· Oversee deployments from discovery through execution, ensuring market readiness and incorporating lessons learned.
· Collaborate with technology leads, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and challenges; conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to document business requirements.
· Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities in business processes, workflows, and systems.
· Drive continuous improvements in technical and process areas, evolving systems and processes as needed.
Qualifications
· 4+ years of experience in project or program management within global, cross-functional, or technology-driven environments.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
· Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams across complex, matrixed organizations.
· Strong understanding of technology mobilization, market readiness, and deployment frameworks.
· Skilled in creating detailed requirements documents, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
· Proficiency with Excel, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Analytical and detail-oriented, with a focus on process improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $104,482- $130,602 per year.
