Role Overview

This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) Team, focused on Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) area, specifically focused on Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), product area where our vision is to “Always be a... people led, product centric, forward-thinking & trusted technology partner”.

 

The Manager, Technical Product Management owns end-to-end technology product delivery, leads and inspires the working team.  To be successful, in the true sense of Agile and Product management the TPM must be empowered to influence and challenge stakeholders as necessary to mitigate biases and ensure the most appropriate, efficient, and optimal solution is delivered to solve the business and end users' challenges.

 

Responsibilities include developing technology product roadmaps and prioritizing backlogs, deeply understanding the business goals challenges including end user needs.  They apply deep product domain knowledge, partners closely with the business, senior technical product management team, technical and delivery teams as needed to ensure value delivery.

 

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Sr. Technical Product Manager.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap Definition

  • Manages or supports a technology product, and/or suite of products with business impact
  • Works with business partners to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals, market trends, and customer feedback
  • Partners with business leaders, delivery teams, and / or architects to determine the long-term viability of systems/products, from business and technology standpoints

Requirement Gathering and Prioritization

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to influence, gather requirements and prioritize feature development
  • Translate customer needs and market demands into clear, actionable technical product requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Works as part of a team of technical product managers expected to broadly influence a large portion of the organization or with a charter to innovate/disrupt a strategically important domain
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design, quality assurance, and operations
  • Ensure alignment on product priorities, timelines, and deliverables across teams

Feature Development and Release Management

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch. Work with engineering teams to define product specifications, oversee development sprints, conduct product reviews, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
  • Escalates risks and/or issues that might be impacting the team. Proactively identify gaps and opportunities (e.g., services, workflows, tooling) within or between markets and other parts of the organization

Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation

Data-Driven Problem-Solving Decision Making

  • Decomposes complex problems into straight-forward solutions. Consistently brings user feedback, strong, data-driven business, and technical judgment to decisions
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track product usage patterns, and iterate on features to optimize user engagement and satisfaction

Continuous Improvement and Feedback

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and team members
  • Use feedback to iterate on the product roadmap, prioritize enhancements, and drive product innovation over time
  • Invest time to continuously improve your product management capabilities and close skill gaps

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical product management or relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years relevant experience with a Master’s degree
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical products, driving clarity, understanding and discussing technical concepts, managing tradeoffs, and evaluating potential concepts with internal and external partners
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop project business cases, and measure success

  • Broad knowledge in assigned domain area, including the latest technology trends and applicable use cases
  • Experience applying product and agile ways of working that includes best practices and lessons learned to standardize and refine ways of working
  • Highly experienced working collaboratively with business partners to drive outcomes and solve complex technical challenges
  • Possess effective communication, storytelling, negotiation, influencing, business acumen, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong innovation skills to identify, develop, and make improvements to techniques, procedures, services, or products
  • Experience applying data and reporting to present key business cases, make informed business decisions, and facilitate continuous improvement
  • Strong positive thinking skills that include creating a safe environment to learn, challenge, accept risk taking and a willingness to be wrong
  • Functional knowledge of Finance/accounting and account reconciliation is a must
  • Ability to provide thought leadership around ARCS best practices and industry trends to drive optimization and improve end user experience
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), including Transaction Matching and Reconciliation Compliance processes within the Record-to-Report track
  • Expertise in managing Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) application
  • Functional knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) such as Kyriba, including integration points with ERP and banking systems
  • Proven ability to optimize financial processes and improve end-user experience through ARCS and Kyriba best practices
  • Experience collaborating with business partners to understand and translate functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Strong understanding of upstream/downstream financial systems and cloud-based integrations, including ERP, banking, and processor/acquirer applications
  • Capability to document current business processes and existing solutions, and to develop a roadmap for future improvements
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence tools

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience working with a consolidation tool and general ledger
  • An overall understanding of the EPP product suite of applications (FCCS/EPBCS/EPM/ARCS)
  • Experience with upstream/downstream integrations with cloud ERP, banking, processor/acquirer applications
  • Experience working in product-centric organizations and/or product owner certification
  • Experienced implementing and managing IT General Controls (ITGC) to ensure SOX compliance
  • Foundational understanding/experience in security: security standards, SSO, SAML, OAUTH, etc.
  • Understanding of Cloud architecture and EPP cloud security
  • Experience with cybersecurity experts to ensure that systems are resilient against cyber threats and comply with relevant regulations and standards is desirable

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $129,800.00 - $165,490.00 per year.
