The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a People Resources Coordinator position, located in Toronto or Montreal working with our East Human Resources Team. This position assists the Regional HR Director and Eastern Human Resources team with supporting and executing key people resources duties
You will provide administrative and project support to deliver outstanding service to our stakeholders and support the team on exceptional execution of our people programs.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administrative support to the East Human Resources team and additional departmental support including the support of meetings & events
- Coordination of various HR Programs
- Support of our internal HR Hotline and email, responding to initial issues, prioritize them, and forwarding them to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Act as a content administrator for our internal intranet as related to People Resources.
- East Staff Engagement including office activities.
- Manage service awards and anniversary celebrations including our recognition platform
- Support team with staffing and other reports
Qualifications
- Bilingualism (French, English) – In addition to the strong knowledge of oral and written French and English skills.1 to 3 years’ experience working in an administrative capacity
- Operates effectively in a team environment
- Builds strong relationships with teams across the organization to open lines of communication
- CHRP or equivalent designation/education as asset
- Ability to work effectively in an environment which requires a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proven project coordination skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
- Well organized, with excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
- Dedicated self-starter who can work independently
- Detail oriented
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
