Position Summary:

Scrum Master

Experienced Scrum Master to support Engineering teams in delivering high-quality data solutions efficiently.  The ideal candidate will facilitate agile processes, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative environment where the team can thrive, ensuring smooth sprint execution and continuous improvement.  Lead and manage projects to ensure timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Planning, execution, and delivery of projects ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Agile Facilitation: daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews and other agile ceremonies.
  • Coach the team on self-organization, cross-functionality, and continue improvement
  • Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and key metrics
  • Team Coordination: Collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with product owner to refine backlog, ensuring clarity.
  • Perform business analysis and assist product owner in refining backlog.
  • Resource Management: Identify and eliminate blockers. Mitigate risks around timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identification and resolution of project risks and issues.
  • Compliance: Adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking progress and reporting on key metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Encouraging learning and process enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Development and implementation of project management tools and methodologies.

Skill:

  • 7+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in AI, data engineering or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Jira pro      duct discovery, and Confluence
  • Educational background in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) or SAFe Agilist certification is a plus
