Integrated Test Lead : Manager, Technology Testing G4_EDAA0918

 The Integrated Test Lead plays a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and efficiency of product releases for the mCDP Integration Services team. This role focuses on driving our end-to-end integrated and automated testing philosophy and efforts across the team. As an expert in software quality assurance with proficiency in Java and Python, you will work closely with data engineering and development teams to embed rigorous testing into the software development lifecycle of our mission-critical Marketer Customer Data Platform (mCDP). By leveraging test automation, modern cloud-native testing methodologies, and metrics, you will deliver scalable, high-performing, and defect-free solutions for high-volume data processing systems.

Duties

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution and philosophy of comprehensive, integrated, and automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality, efficient, and reliable product releases for the mCDP Integration Services team.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to embed and align testing processes across the software development lifecycle, specifically for cloud-native, high-volume data processing and streaming platforms.
  • Design, implement, and lead automated testing solutions using Java and Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts within the mCDP product ecosystem.
  • Drive test governance and continuous improvement, ensuring best practices are followed across integration projects, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
  • Create testing frameworks and methodologies for event-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines (indicating proficiency in Kafka, consumer services, cloud-native data processing, etc.)
  • Monitor and report on testing progress and outcomes, ensuring transparency and visibility for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product releases by employing rigorous testing techniques and controls.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, technology testing, or a related field.
  • Proficient programming skills in Java and Python, with a strong ability to write, review, and maintain automation scripts.
  • Strong command of software testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, PyTest).
  • Proven experience creating and executing test strategies, plans, and cases across complex software environments, including high-volume distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Cloud Run), and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience testing data streaming platforms and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka).
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and its intersection with QA processes in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Skilled in driving alignment, communication, and collaboration across development, QA, and product teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven ability to enhance quality through innovation and process improvement in day-to-day testing practices.
  • Experience in testing integrations with MarTech tools (Braze, mParticle, Salesforce, Segment, LiveRamp, etc.) highly desirable, but not required.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is ₹2,339,630.00 - ₹3,217,000.00 per year
