Supervisor, Data Analytics

The Indirect Sourcing & Procurement (IS&P) organization is responsible for maximizing enterprise value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend optimization, procurement operations, and data-driven decision making across McDonald's global indirect spend portfolio.

IS&P partners with business functions across Technology, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Restaurant Development, Professional Services, and Corporate Functions to ensure the company achieves optimal value from third-party spend while maintaining strong supplier relationships, risk management, compliance, and operational excellence.

As part of its transformation journey, IS&P is increasingly leveraging advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies to enhance procurement effectiveness, improve spend visibility, accelerate decision-making, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The Supervisor, Spend Analytics will develop, maintain, and enhance spend analytics solutions that provide actionable insights across procurement, supplier, finance, and operational datasets. The role will perform spend classification, data cleansing, validation, enrichment, and analysis activities while supporting the creation of dashboards, KPI reporting, supplier intelligence, category analytics, and executive reporting. The individual will work extensively with large datasets and support the development of standardized spend taxonomies, reporting frameworks, and analytical data models.

The role will partner closely with Category Managers, Procurement Operations, Finance, and Data & Analytics teams to support category strategy development, performance measurement, compliance monitoring, savings tracking, and working capital initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of procurement and finance processes and how purchasing transactions flow through source-to-pay systems into financial reporting and business outcomes. The position will also support continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality, reporting automation, self-service analytics, and data governance. This execution-focused role is aligned with the Spend Analytics operating model, where the Supervisor is responsible for report development, dashboard delivery, data validation, UAT support, and documentation

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in Spend Analytics, Procurement Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain Analytics, or Finance Analytics.
• Experience working with large procurement, finance, or operational datasets.
• Understanding of indirect procurement categories and spend management principles.
• Experience building dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion, ERP systems, procurement systems, or source-to-pay processes preferred.
