Department Overview
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be a part of our Payroll Team within the Global Business Services function. This team serves as the intake function for all documented requests and begins the systematic workflow to get the requests to the appropriate team for processing. The Payroll organization, as a whole, is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and results in a timely, high-quality, and accurate manner while ensuring adherence to internal controls.
Duties
This role supports employees, managers, and business partners with questions, issues, and problem resolution on services related to Payroll. Including but not limited to FSV Paycard inventory management, tracking payroll package deliveries, processing outbound mail services, and answering unidentified child support requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upkeep mail inventory and work with supervisor to order supplies as needed including departmental and cross-functional envelopes. Respond to incoming customer requests quickly, proficiently, and professionally while meeting specific quality expectations.
- Invoices and Billing/Checks: Endorse and prepare incoming checks for deposit and scanning.
- Maintenance of incorrectly applied checks, deletion and/or reversal as needed.
- FedEx tracking of AP and payroll checks.
- Monitor Check Circulation and GBS Mailboxes.
- Manage the offboarding process, including escalations and tracking.
- Manage unidentified child support garnishments cases.
- Manage FSV paycard process including store creation in portal, paycard inventory, and emergency shipment.
- Collaboration: Exhibit proficiency in learning and communicating effectively with multiple teams to ensure that all business objectives are achieved.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to assist our Internal and/or External employees.
- Additional Ad Hoc projects as needed.
- Additional NA Payroll task as assigned.
Qualifications
- Self-starter and ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, continuous improvement work environment
- Outstanding communication skills, strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Multitasker who can pivot in the moment and has excellent time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of office experience
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of data entry processing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some College preferred
- Proven ability to get results in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
- Excellent data entry skills with high level of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working individually and cooperatively as a member of a team
- Experience managing conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines
- Aptitude towards technology and applications including Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential matters and to work with confidential data
- Continuous Improvement mindset

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $23.12 - $27.74 per hour
