Could you be our next Business Technical Analyst?
What you can expect on a day-to-day basis:
- Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements, translating these into clear technical requirements and user stories
- Mapping business objectives to appropriate technology solutions and supporting solution design with the delivery teams
- Partnering closely with business stakeholders, the Enterprise Technology development team, and vendors to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and timelines
- Producing and maintaining essential delivery artefacts, including technical specifications, process maps, and solution documentation
- Working with databases and data warehouses, including writing and executing SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting
- Supporting end‑to‑end delivery activities, including testing (UAT), deployment, and ongoing run and support of applications
- Ensuring solutions integrate effectively with existing systems and comply with global and local IT, security, and audit standards
- Supporting the application lifecycle across build, deploy, operate, and sustain phases, including change control and documentation upkeep
- Implementing DevOps practices, including application monitoring, logging, and issue management
- Defining and implementing processes aligned to a DevOps delivery and operating model
- Developing subject matter expertise in local and global transformation initiatives, including Back Office, Supply Chain and People Systems
- Coordinating and managing vendor and outsourced resources to support delivery and operational outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying system and process enhancements to improve reliability and effectiveness
Your keys to success:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a technical business analyst, application support, or similar technology‑focused role
- Strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into clear business and technical requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with software development and support teams to meet business objectives and release milestones
- Proven experience supporting functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing requirements definitions, detailed design documentation, and test artefacts
- Ability to operate as a subject matter expert across multiple technology products and platforms used by restaurants and corporate teams
