At McDonald’s Australia, we’re building the future of our business by investing in the next generation of franchise leaders and we’re looking for a Franchise Talent Acquisition Consultant to help make that happen. In this exciting role, you’ll identify, engage and progress future franchisees, combining recruitment expertise with compelling brand storytelling, data‑driven insights and strong stakeholder partnerships to shape the long‑term success of the McDonald’s system.
If you thrive on working with senior leaders, building diverse talent pipelines and being a brand ambassador across the business, this role offers meaningful exposure and development opportunities.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Building and managing a diverse, high‑quality pipeline of future franchisees (internal talent, system talent and external candidates)
  • Leading end‑to‑end recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviews, assessments and review board preparation
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Franchising, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Finance and Learning & Development
  • Driving franchisee attraction and brand awareness initiatives, including media campaigns, events and information sessions
  • Owning franchise recruitment data, reporting and governance, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with global McDonald’s teams to share best practice and align with global frameworks

Your keys to success:

  • Proven talent acquisition experience, with a strong track record of sourcing, assessing and progressing high‑quality candidates across complex or senior‑level roles.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build credibility
  • Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable using data to inform decisions
  • Collaborative and effective in complex stakeholder environments
  • Passion for brand, diversity and long‑term talent development
