Could you be our next Quality Assurance Consultant?

At Macca's, we are looking for a passionate quality assurance professional to join our Supply Chain team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Consultant, Quality Assurance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our food and non-food products meet the highest standards. You’ll manage supplier relationships, support new product launches, and provide expert advice to internal stakeholders. What you can expect on a day-to-day basis:

Supplier Management

  • Developing and managing business relationships with suppliers, partnering with Strategic Sourcing Managers to ensure alignment with McDonald’s expectations
  • Establishing supplier performance criteria and conduct formal reviews to monitor compliance with food safety and quality standards
  • Overseeing onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring they meet product specifications for physical, chemical, and microbiological attributes
  • Collaborating with global leads to drive food safety and quality improvements within designated categories

New Product & Process Development

  • Advising the New Product Development (NPD) team on food safety, regulatory, nutrition, and McDonald’s requirements during product scoping
  • Conducting food safety and quality validations for new products in line with category requirements
  • Working with the Equipment team to validate new equipment for restaurant operations

Quality Systems Management

  • Establishing and maintaining food safety systems for assigned categories, covering both products and restaurant food handling
  • Assisting with product-related inquiries or investigations stemming from consumer or internal feedback, including complaint management and health department regulations
  • Facilitating resolution of food quality issues with restaurant operations, suppliers, and other departments
  • Providing or coordinating industry expertise on issues related to McDonald’s products, packaging, and processing (e.g., new technology, environmental issues, pricing trends)
  • Analyzing, investigating, and seeking best practices to drive continuous improvement in quality management systems
