Obowiązki
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Impact Lead and the Management Board on legislative and regulatory risks and opportunities, ensuring early identification and mitigation.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive government relations strategy for McDonald’s Poland, aligned with the company's business goals and global Impact objectives.
- Advocate for McDonald’s positions on key topics such as food and agriculture, circular economy, labour, ESG regulations, taxation, and health policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, regulators, and industry groups.
- Represent McDonald’s Poland in local and national discussions with policymakers, NGOs, and trade associations.
- Collaborate with franchisees to address local government challenges and facilitate positive outcomes for new restaurant openings.
- Partner with the Impact and other teams to ensure franchisees and other stakeholders are kept informed about key government relations initiatives and updates.
- Support other Impact colleagues and internal cross-functional teams in addressing operational challenges linked to public policy.
- Contribute to McDonald’s Global Public Policy and Government Relations goals by aligning local efforts with regional and global priorities.
- Develop actionable resources for local teams, including position papers, regulatory briefings, and advocacy toolkits.
- Lead efforts to share and scale best practices across markets and within the organization.
Kwalifikacje
- Degree in public policy, law, political science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related role, preferably in a corporate or trade association setting.
- Proven track record of managing government relations issues, building relationships, and influencing public policy outcomes.
- Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Team player mindset.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting requirements and labor policies will be an asset.
