 Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Lead and Coordinate projects in the area of Tax Compliance & Reporting, focusing on Corporate Income Tax and Indirect Tax Workstreams, including being the key contact point for Polish tax matters by liaising with tax advisors and the Global Tax Team
  • Preparing market tax projections for US GAAP reporting including return-to-provision analysis and calculations subject to management discretion
  • Reviewing and maintaining appropriate global transfer pricing policies and documentation (with support from Global Tax team and external advisors)
  • Managing interactions with tax authorities on direct and indirect tax matters and supporting the global tax team with broader dispute resolution processes.
  • Leading the preparation and readiness for CbCR requirements, with support from the Global Tax Team
  • Staying updated on changes in tax regulations, communicating their implications appropriately to relevant stakeholders and supporting in related implementation
  • Maintaining a local market tax strategy and governance framework that aligns with the global tax strategy.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders (such as Finance and Legal) on cross-functional projects acting as the key point of contact for tax. Working with the Senior Leadership Team as appropriate
  • Driving automation and efficiency efforts on our current tax process whilst ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements
  • As a member of the regional tax group, supporting other pan-European projects with support from the Global Tax Team

Qualifications

 

  • University degree, preferably oriented to finance/taxes/law/accounting
  • Min 6+ years relevant experience in tax area, specialized for corporate income tax, big 4 experience is a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of CIT and VAT; familiarity with Transfer Pricing, WHT, MDR and tax risk management is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with tax compliance, calculations and tax reporting
  • Professional qualification in tax and accounting preferred
  •  Experience working with third-party outsourced providers and familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle Cloud, Vertex, and OneSource.
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with cross functional teams at large companies and with tax advisors.
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Polish. Knowledge of another language will be an additional asset
